An interview with two experts with high scientific backing that apply to the mindfulenss with responsibility and in the interests of patients

The approach of the disease -in any of its clinical forms – requires a multi-pronged strategy that incorporates all of the areas affected. The human reality is stratified, the valid explanations at a level they may not be in another. The medicine takes care of all of them, its object is the suffering of the people. All available resources should be subject to scientific inquiry and empirical evidence of its clinical efficacy. Dr. Marcelo Cetkovich, and the licentiate Martín Reynoso have managed to build a therapeutic space (INECO) that articulates those needs by offering mindfulness adjacent to the standard treatments for their diseases. Dr. Marcelo Cetkovich (bio)
Dr. Marcelo Cetkovich graduated as a doctor of the Faculty of Medicine of the UBA. He immediately began his psychiatric training at the Neuropsychiatric Hospital José T Borda. Complete the Upper Course of Medical Psychiatrists, Faculty of Medicine, University of Buenos Aires, in the first chair of Psychiatry headed by Professor Carlos Marquez.
Member for years of the staff of the Center of Biological Psychiatry, he devoted his activity to the diagnosis and treatment of the psychoses endogenous (Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorders) and anxiety disorders. With your working group participated in several studies designed to reveal a glimpse of the biological basis of mental illnesses, whose results were presented at major international forums of Biological Psychiatry. He was president of the Argentine Association of Biological Psychiatry, and is the current scientific secretary of the Argentine Association of Psychiatrists (AAP).
Had the opportunity to make trips of expertise, having studied Disorders Obsesisvo-Compulsive disorder Prof. José A Yaryura Tobias in New york and psychoses are endogenous with Professor Helmut Beckmann at the University Clinic of Wuerzburg, Germany. He has dedicated great efforts to the teaching activity carried both out at the University of Buenos Aires, such as Universities Barceló and Belgrano.
At this time he serves as chief of the department of psychiatry, INECO, which has developed an ambitious program of care, teaching and research. In addition he serves as chief of the Department of Psychiatry of the newly formed Institute of Neuroscience at the Favaloro Foundation.
