Note, La Rossa summit is in the Champagny sector of the resort. To access you need to drop down either Les Verdons South side (variety of blues and reds) or the long Levasset blue (accessed from Roche de Mio) and then take the Borseliers chair followed by La Rossa chair. This area gets sun all day and has spectacular views over the Vanoise glaciers – including the towering 3855m La Grande Casse. Despite being more isolated and harder to get to, this sector of the resort is highly recommended. The views alone are worth the trip.
