The buddhist centre Kadampa Bodhichitta will carry out a course of meditation and stress release in the activity “A day of open doors”, which will be held this Saturday in the capital.
According to the teacher Kelsang Sangzin, representative of this centre, the aim of the event is to help people of all ages to find inner peace through meditation.
The teacher Sangzin points out: “meditation really is a scientific method that causes peace of mind, so that if you meditás you’re going to experience peace.”
Sangzin adds that although it is the first time that develops a similar activity in the city, is intended to be done at least twice a year.
“We want to benefit the people, who know what we can offer. We want people to learn to be happy, to learn how to have less stress, less suffering as the depression, the anger, the jealousy, the envy.
Because that is what give us these teachings give us wisdom,” adds Sangzin.
The event is free and includes the teaching of meditation through controlled breathing, enlightening lectures, and tasting of snacks vegetarians. These activities will be carried out to meet the interests and needs of all attendees. Sangzin also stated that this activity is performed with the purpose of approaching people to be aware of the teachings of the center.
In addition, on Saturday, we will be projecting short videos and a movie, an hour and a half duration, in which it presents the life and acts of Buddha.
The center Kadampa Bodhichitta is located in Bologna, of the installations of Channel 2, one block to the east. The activity is quick from 10 to.m. until 6:30 p. m.
