A new study replaces an old institution of the scene of the yoga; a day of exercise with the best trainers in L. A., and an ‘application’ of appointments for those who share the love for the healthy. This is what stakeholders should know:
Yoga, a holistic approach
Mandala occupies the space in Santa Monica that once belonged to the Golden Bridge Yoga Center, focused on the practice of kundalini. The new studio, which opened its doors on the 19th of last may, has a wide range of classes, such as yoga for a healthy back and edges 101, with an emphasis on yoga for the body, mind and spirit.
“It is important that the practice is taught in a holistic way,” said its co-founder, Saul David Raye. “It is not only a physical practice to a body healthy and fit, but also for the healing of mental and emotional”.
719 Broadway, Santa Monica. $22 per class. Discounts for packages. Information: (424) 322-8071, mandalacenter.us

‘Applications’ for appointments healthy
After receiving recently $1.8 million in seed funds, the ‘application’ of appointments with headquarters in Denver MeetMindful is expanding to multiple markets, including L. A.
The application seeks to unite singles that are interested in meditation, green living and mindful eating. “In most of the applications of dating only you need to put some photos and a brief text,” said the founder and executive director, Amy Baglan. “We wanted to put the intention back in the dating”.
Los Angeles has the second largest concentration of people on the site after Denver, and many of the possible candidates range between 35 and 55 years of age.
The basic membership is free; the premium ranged between $9 and $29 per month, depending on the length. Information: meetmindful.com
